Bush may just be right ; "They hate us for our freedom".
Freedom to:
Invade
Lie
steal
plunder
engage in wars of aggression
torture
and all the while attribute these qualities to those we declare enemies.

I am convinced Bush has taken America to new levels of freedom.

The Republicans have caused the word "Freedom" to go from being a priceless crystalized item to just another item you can buy at a 99 cent store."

Our country is mired in two quagmires, a deficit of unfathomable proportions, 44 million without health insurance, unemployment and a growing police state. At least gays can't marry.

There's freedom for you!!!

Fuck you George.

4. If it were true, the way Bush has put it,
"they" wouldn't hate us anymore.

With the PATRIOT ACT and other goodies, we've given up all our freedom. Therefore, "they" shouldn't hate us anymore.

But, who is "they?" Perhaps "they" are the ones stealing our freedom away from us.

7. You've got a point we need to define "they".
Also we need to define "us" I wonder if the "us" is the Bush administration and not the United States "U.S.".

If I were on the receiving end of all this freedom it would be easier to understand the hate.

6. So if Bush takes away our freedoms there's nothing to hate, right?
Maybe that's what they're thinking.
