Tucker Carlson's Thought Crime.

Last night there was a good exchange on "The Situation" concerning the teacher in Florida having sex with her middle-school student, and somehow he morphed it onto the subject of Hate Crimes legislation and called it "thought crime".

It got me thinking.... How often have you heard the thugs try to rationalize our killing of Middle Easterners because "They hate us for who we are". "Kill them before they kill us". "They randomly killed Americans on 9/11" etc.

Aren't they admitting that indiscriminate killing of a class of people is somehow worse than killing with some other sort of purpose?

So the post was not so much about him as it was about the hypocracy of the neo-cons using other's hate for America as the rationale for jailing/killing them.

you know i always hear them say "How you tell whats in a persons heart" when talking about a hate crime or actually trying to excuse it and i think, a guy that robs a 7/11 or gas station probably doesn't hate the products but a guy that kills a gay person or a black person because of their color or lifestyle obviously does it out of hate, even if it's self hate.
