I dunno. You could be right, but I think an indictment will come down as Fitz puts on the screws to make Karl deal. Little fat guys like Karl don't handle thumbscrews or the threat of prison well. And, being psychopathic, their final, deepest loyalty--indeed their ONLY loyalty--is to themselves. Any good prosecutor knows the type, & knows how to inflict the right kind of pain to get them to reassess what actions might be in their self-interest. But first Fitz has to crack away a lot of arrogance and delusions of invulnerability that arise from Karl's having gotten away with so much for so long.

It will be fun to watch. It may take down Bush, unless someone around Bush is smart enough to have Karl Baxterized.
