FLASHBACK: Randy "Duke" Cunningham had a hand in Kerry/Fonda nonsense
Edited on Mon Nov-28-05 10:53 PM by Adenoid_Hynkel
yep this guy had a hand in starting that shit.
he even went on rush and hannity's show and said he wouldn't vote for kerry 'even if he weas a republican." he frequently defended and promoted the swift boat liars, too.

so remember that and and maybe you can savor the replays of his crybaby moment even more.
---

Yes! Yesss!! Oh, let me taste your tears, Duke!
---

"When he stands up with Jane Fonda, someone that is so notorious and hated by veterans, and Tom Hayden, and a couple of others as well and supports their agenda," Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham, California Republican, said yesterday, "it diminishes the service some of us almost gave our lives for, and the over 56,000 people that lost their lives —it slaps their families in the face."
Mr. Cunningham was the first pilot to qualify as an ace in the Vietnam War, by shooting down at least five enemy airplanes.
"I think it's his right, but it kind of upsets you," Mr. Cunningham said. "He had honorable service, but it's a shame someone would let politics rule their life, instead of their principles."

2. "It's a shame someone would let politics rule their life ...
... instead of their principles."

Man, talk about your own words coming back to bite you in the ass!

Methinks Mr. Cunningham won't be the last Repub left cryin' like Nancy Kerrigan on national TV -- not by a longshot. Maybe the DU store should start marketing "GOP Cryin' Towels" in time for Christmas!

5. We need to rephrase his words for HIM to remember
"He had honorable service, but it's a shame someone would let politics rule their life, instead of their principles."

Instead, I favor a letter writing campaign with those words rephrased and mailed to him. Something like ...

""He had honorable service, but it's a shame someone would let political coruption and cronyism rule their life, instead of their principles, honor and their duty to their elected office."

I don't feel the least bit sorry for him. He was well aware of what he was doing ... and he chose to do it.

What makes me even more angry from his speech today, was when he said that he had told them "some time ago" that he would be pleading guilty, but he kept right on playing the game, showing up to work and making decisions for the very people he was still screwing and in favor of the ones that were still screwing him.

6. Wasn't the GOP rally cry in 2000 something like
"We will restore honesty and integrity back to the Whitehouse" Did duke roll over and give up other 'grafters and thieves"? He got 10Yrs.
not bad. I guy most feared in DC is Jack Abramoff. His influence reached high into govt and I hear 6 congressmen may soon be included.Plus he and his buddy kadain are connected to the murder of Gus Boulis, a casino ship/business owner was killed. This GOP criminal cloud will hang and linger through the year. Should the heat
be so unbearable the Bush Crime Family will, "do" America again. Martial Law ???
