Asscrap--Let the Eagle Soar???
Just watching F-9/11 again on HBO. What the hell was he thinking? Singing, Let the Eagle Soar? Oh. My. God. He wrote that? And sang it?

Why....?

That moment of f-9/11 always makes me lmao--this time, I just sat here wondering--what WAS that about?

1. I'd still like to know the real reason Ashcroft recused himself from
the CIA Leak investigation. You don't hear from this guy at all. What is he doing?

7. Only calico cats
His reasoning (if you can call it that) was that since calico cats were unnatural, then they must be demon posessed.

Hail Satan

13. That's right, I forgot about his fear of calico cats.
Once when Ashcroft was the topic, a DUer posted a photoshopped pic of a cat with red eyes etc a while back. It cracked me up! :)

14. That's an urban myth, debunked by Snopes:
http://www.snopes.com/critters/gnus/calico.htm

However, by 2003, there were comments from the Attorney General on this topic. When asked by The American Enterprise if he had any notion of how this rumor got started, Mr. Ashcroft replied:

"Absolutely none. All I can think of is the poem by Eugene Field about a duel between a gingham dog and calico cat. In any case, there's no truth to it. I owned a calico cat — on the farm I lived on until I went away to be the state auditor of Missouri."

5. LOL! Randi Rhodes played a little clip of
John Ashcroft singing this song. It was hilarious. I had to turn it down...was laughing so hard, I might get into a traffic accident.

Yes, the old boy did vanish into the woodwork, didn't he? I hava a sneaking suspicion he's been on the gravy train of some really nefarious deeds....like proably in cahoots with J. Paul Bremer and the billions missing from Iraq.....just a hunch.

Also, I've never seen as many pejorative names for one man: Asscrust, Asscrack, Asscrap, Trashcroft, the list goes on and on.

he was always dependable for a good laugh.

and he was so worked up with his witchcraft and chickenblood juju, he probably didn't have much time for the really evil shit - unlike Gonzales, who is smart and knows how to ply his trade in the shadows.

I'd rather have an utter psychopath wasting time rearranging drapes.

Plus I don't get to do my impression of him any more.

memories la la la... hmm hmmm hmmm of the way we were...

10. "Let the Eagle soar..." and hit it's head on Ashcroft's ceiling of freedom
The ultimate Symbol of America, would be extinct under the likes of Ashcroft, and his ilk's sick idea of America.
