Did Duke Cunningham earn his medals in Vietnam legitimately?
I mean, I'm not making an accusation, but I'm just saying.

Some people have said that everything might not be on the up and up with the awarding of those medals.

2. They Questioned Kerry's Medals
I'd say that makes this lying thief a legitimate target of such a question.

3. You know, I can understand the desire to Swiftboat a Republican
Edited on Tue Nov-29-05 01:04 PM by Walt Starr
but really, when it comes to honoring the service of our nation's veterans, I think Democrats should demonstrate themselves to be better people than the vile and evil Republicans who would stoop so low as to make up lies about a veteran's service.

We need to remember this - and not stoop to the level of those who would denigrate military service for political purposes. :hi:

20. I Also Agree With You Walt
I also agree with you, Walt. I think it behooves Democrats to prove themselves better people than the slime-dwelling, mud-throwing creatures who have taken over the Elephant Party's power structure and who think nothing of blackguarding former American servicemen and servicewomen.

10. That Nasty Old Fucktard Groped Me Repeatedly At The Miramar O Club
I was 18 and slinging drinks there and Duke was FOREVER trying to fire a heat seeking missile up my booty. Nasty Vile FUCKWITTAGE.

I called him a MotherFuckin Pig to his drunken face. It made him like me even more. I am so happy tonight. I will do the happy happy "FUCK YOU DUKEHOLE" dance after I have a few glasses of wine!

NOBODY liked the POS btw. He intimidated EVERYONE. Bully/COWARD!

19. I bet his old heat seeker doesn't work well any more
He should have taken the old adage to heart:

Be kind to those on the way up so they will be kind to you on the way down.

He's going to find out what it feels like to be on the other end when he gets to da bootie house.

22. His Heat Seeker Probably Hasn't Worked In Years
He is a full blown DRUNK. He has been pickled since the late 70's.

I hope some really hairy, smelly, greasy, tattooed biker likes really pasty fat white old fucktards and makes "DAISY DUKE" his girl!

5. Someone called into Washington Journal...
this morning and said that while he was in training for Vietnam (it ended before he got shipped out), Cunningham was widely known and admired. However, always worth checking out if you know how to do that. Even active duty high-ranking officers have been found with medals they might not have earned.

13. Amen brother ...
This guy is a decorated war veteran, and true hero.
Nothing can change this fact.

Now he is a corrupt Republican politician, and deservedly he will spent time in jail.
Nothing can change this fact.

If he was a Dem, I would feel the same way.

Cheers
Drifter

John Slade: What these fancy medals for?
Jack Spade: Well, this one is, uh, shorthand. And, uh, this one over here is M.V.P. And, uh, this is surfing.

Since we already know by his own admission that he's a criminal.

21. Not only is "Swiftboating" wrong, but in this case, pointless from a
practical standpoint, as dude is not running for office, and in fact has resigned, pleaded guilty, and is going to jail.

I guess it's okay to be happy and dance on his grave, but really no reason to try to distort and trash the actually legitimately GOOD part of his career aside from vindictiveness. And I KNOW Duke Cunningham has been a ruthless asshole to Democrats, and Kerry, too.

I only wish the rest of these guys would resign, plead guilty, and go to jail.

will be similarly ignored come sentencing time. I'd hate to see him get a slap on the wrist. If he tries to use it, It must be examined.
BTW, Isn't he the one who wanted a Death penalty for dealing, until his son got caught?
