The Mainstream Media....Does it ever see us out there?

I thought when CNN's "Situation Room" suddenly put some savy 20 Somethings on "Doing the Blogs" that there might be a chance that those of us out here who have been "slogging away" on the LEFT might get a decent hearing. I knew they would report on all the Right Wing Blogs, but figured we could at least get a "fairer hearing" than we have when our Dem Hacks (Biden/Lieberman, etc.) go out there supporting the Repugs
on all the media.

I'm not sure if it's working. For those of you who are Cable fanatics (knowing that on DU there aren't many...but for those who are) have you seen any evidence that Bloggers and Lefty Sites like DU are making any difference? :shrug:

1. yes and its showing in poll numbers lately.

I think DU and sites like it have been responsible in keeping things like DSM, etc alive in the public dialogue.

3. I'm hoping that also. And that AAR and Ed Shultz and some other Media

are now the "Alternative" and it's beginning to sink into most of America that there "IS" another side to issues.

Maybe it's too early to see the "rumblings of the earthquake" waiting to happen on Repugs.

That's why I asked on this post. We have so many posters here...it's good to get a diverse perspective.
