Interesting point from Rhandi on Bush's speech from today
Edited on Wed Nov-30-05 08:15 PM by FreedomAngel82
I'm listening to the archive of Rhandi's show from WRS (thanks Ben!) and she is making a good point. She said that today could've been the day where they start the transition. Remember "Mission Accomplished"? Like that. Seymore Hersh warned us about it in his recent article. It's very interesting how he is either doing fundrasiers or speaking at military bases. When does he do any actual work? Who's running the show? Thinking about it I also think something else is going to happen and we're going to have the Iraqi's attack Iran for us and do air bombings and Bush will bring out troops (enough) just in time for next year (such as what Hersh pointed out in his article). The thing to remember is everything in politics is about the timing...so Murtha coming out recently and Hersh's article and now this speech is all very interesting timing. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but it's all interesting to me anyways.

1. You are suggesting they are planning...
... to cut & run? Well, not a fast cut & run, more of "the long cut & run". It was inevetable. The cats are fat, and thus empowered to mess with We, The People for many decades no matter who is in power.

I think this is the beginning of the Iraq war. Is it the beginning of the next war?

I also think we can start chanting "cut & run" to freepers now.

2. I'm not sure
But to remember in politics timing is everything and it's interesting how he's been doing nothing but fundraising or speaking at various military bases. So maybe.

7. Military bases are safe venues, since the entire environment can be
controlled (secured from the intrusion of ordinary citizens) through the standard operating conditions (no extra enforcement needed), and the "audience" can be ordered to appear and respond warmly.

I believe *co is not looking to get out. Expect even larger inflated combat-ready Iraqi troop numbers, and more happy-talk from the Muppet Media.

11. I just want to point out that Katrina vanden Heuvel used Cut & Run.
Just now on the Colber(t) Repor(t), she said the repukes are gonna cut & run. I am pleased that Katrina vanden Heuvel reads my posts.

:P

3.  "have the Iraqi's attack Iran for us" - ?
Aren't the Iranians Shia? I don't think this one is in the cards, at all.

Today Shiites are in the majority in Iran, and large numbers are found in Iraq,
Syria, Lebanon, India, Pakistan, and parts of Central Asia. ...

6. exactly! and since the bulk of the new security forces in Iraq
are Shiites, any talk of getting THEM to attack Iran for us is pretty silly... Apparently, most of the new "police departments" are nothing more than Shia militia..

10. Really?
Defination of Iraq...... the country or the goverment.

Do you really think that the present Iraq Goverment represent the people of Iraq?

Do you really think that they will not execute bushco plan?

Do it matter if even the Iraqies people are against it that they will stop?

If they dont even care about what 70% of Americans think would it matter what the Iraqies think?

The possibilities exist and when one discount the possibilities from ever happening that we expose ourselves to the danger of it being sneak up on us?

8. Fundraisers are by definition, friendly venues. And military...
....bases are, by definition, under strict control.

Someone in the White House is deathly afraid of bushy boy getting hecked and going into a foaming at the mouth screaming rant on live TV.
