Focus on Family dumps bank (too pro-gay)
Focus on the Family is looking for a new bank, saying it's dumping Wells Fargo for its "pro-homosexual agenda."

The Colorado Springs-based Christian group told its followers about the move Thursday. Focus on the Family said that a "pivotal reason" the San Francisco- based bank is getting the ax is that its logo was used in a fund-raising campaign for a "fight against the 'anti-gay industry' - a group that pro-gay organizations have stated includes Focus on the Family."

Wells Fargo had agreed to match contributions to a media-campaign fund for GLAAD, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. But its logo got attached to a fund-raising Internet advertising campaign that raised Focus on the Family's ire.

Yay! I bank at Wells Fargo - now I don't have to have my money touching that group's cash.

3. Fukus on the Family is also boycotting Target--
the old "it's Christmas--NOT Holiday argument." Fukus will not shop where they cannot see the word Christmas prominently displayed. Good--keep your sorry asses in Wal-Mart and exchange gifts of all that crappy crap.

4. Good for them....
however I think they (Wells Fargo) still tend to screw over the little guy with alarming regularity. :(

6. Let's watch the Fukus people
shop around for another bank. . .and when they find one, let's pepper them silly with objections that they would accept deposits and do business with a religious cult. We can even ask them if they plan on serving Jim Jones' kool-aid to their staff and other customers until we are all forced to join. . .

This is something to keep a very close eye on, folks - it's time we fight back, and we can do so by explaining to a business that we are sick and tired of these organizations dictating business practices to private companies. If they have conditions about service, let them form their own damned banks - otherwise, it is time we discover where Dobson does his business and launch a massive counterattack to point out to these companies just how detrimental to America and to business pandering to their demands really is. . .

Perhaps we should email Wells Fargo and express our regret that they lost a depositer - along with reassurances that if it wasn't over the gay issue, it would be over any number of other things the bank or depositers would be associated with - and that giving into their dictates only opens the bank up to losing more business as FOF's list of unapproved associations grows.
