Poll question: 2008 Democratic presidential cattle call
I've limited this to people who have expressed an interest in running.

1. I've got my favorites
However, I would gladly support anyone on the list once they got the nomination.

If Kerry doesn't run next time I'll support Russ Feingold but I'll vote for whomever wins.

18. I pick Russ...
I don't always agree with him, but he is definately not anyone's lap dog. Being from WI, I can safely say that Russ get's a diverse group of voters every time, stands up for what he believes, and doesn't pander to anyone...not even his democratic base...of course there are the issues of his 2 divorces and Jewish heritage that may not play well in Jesusland, but I think he would make a great president. (plus he's kinda hot;))

2. Edwards is the ONLY candidate who dares to say...
that all of America's problems -- domestic and foreign -- are caused by corporate greed: that the only hope for working Americans (and the impoverished, the elderly and the disabled) is full restoration of the New Deal.

5. If only Canadian-born could run. . .
And no, I don't mean Jennifer Granholm.

11. Or Clark/Warner.
Clark has the foreign policy and international expertise which you really need at the head of the ticket, and Warner would be an excellent choice for his governmental experience.

10. We have to draft Gore. That's all there is to it.
To quote John Adams, "It's your duty, damn it! Your duty!"

Gore has already been tested in national elections. He's already taken every shot they could throw at him. He should run better and stronger this time than last.

With any candidate who has not been fully vetted by running, you don't know what will come out.
