Mexico admits anti-immigrant stance

The commission presented a report that found overcrowding, poor treatment and generally bad conditions at many of the country's 51 immigration detention centers and 68 other holding facilities. The detention areas hold mainly Central American immigrants before they are deported back to their home countries. The facilities often lack working restrooms, blankets, sleeping mats, adequate food and medical care.

The commission urged the government to improve conditions and set clear standards for such facilities.

They are happy htat most people illegally immigrating to the US are Indians. You won't see this in the press that much but racial lines are strong in Latin America. If you are white or Mestizo you are on the top of the social pyramid.

Simplistic idealists think Mexico is a paradise, a jewel in the crown. Gee, why does Mexico have a 40% unemployment rate and why does Mexico encourage it's citizens to break the laws of other countries?


As for the racism, watch some Mexican soap operas on the Spanish channels. Count how many dark skinned Latinos/Latinas you see. Salma Hayek couldn't get a job on Mexican TV because of her darker skin. Brazil and Argentina are even worse.

The only characters with darker complexions are servants and bad people, like women who try to steal other women's men.

The people entering Mexico are only in search of a better life for themselves and their families. What would you do if you were starving and couldn't find a job? If Mexico insists on deporting all of the illegal immigrants their economy will grind to a halt - fruits and vegetables will rot in the fields, construction of homes and businesses will stop, and the economy will be thrown into a recession, possibly even stagflation or a depression!

But if that happened, you know that ChimpCo would do everything in their power to prevent a government with socialistic ideals coming to power in Mexico. Mexico is ruled by big corporate interests and a few extremely wealthy families.
