CNN is calling the photo-op "Mission to Baghdad"
what a crock. It wasn't a mission -- it was a nice long nap, followed by a couple hours of rah rah crap, and another nice long nap.

Cynthia Tucker commented on how Jr and KKKarl will use the footage in ads. The repug bimbette replied that the way to show one's appreciation for the sacrifice is to share in it -- and that, she says, is why he went to Baghdad. (How did he share in the sacrifice? He carried a freaking turkey two feet, slopped slop on maybe two trays, but that's it.)

Tucker came back and said Jr. made no sacrifice, that he was under extremely strict security and never faced the risks the soldiers do. She sees this as blowing up in his face later just like the "Mission Accomplished" banner did.

A caller then ripped him a new one for grandstanding and said he should be working on the economy, etc. Beautiful.

Mission to Baghdad my butt.

2. Well, missions are something someone in charge of you hands you,
so that makes sense. Just Karl pulling some strings.

3. CNN got hosed
You would think that after being left out in the cold CNN might want to be a little tougher. Instead, their approach seems to be "Oh, oh, please stop being mean to me!!!"

8. CNN is the number 2 groupie
A musician friend of mine has given priority numbers to his groupies and they know what their number is. If number 1 is in the audience, then number 2 and number 3 don't stick around for closing time. I guess CNN knows what their number is and they're living with it.

Bunnypant's Secret Nocturnal Mission Goes as Planned

"He Came, Smoked a Turkey, and Left" - said startled Rear Admiral

Though he was traveling with Aides in a rough area, well behind the front lines, the Secret Service claims that proper protection was supplied at all times.

"The Preseident is a stickler for making a proper entry" the Whitehouse said.

7. the big glow from yesterday
I am glad to see the large bloom from yesterday is falling off the rose quickly. Yesterday, it seemed many of the morans across the nation were frosting their cookies a bit too much about what great "compassion", "leadership", "honor", and other :puke: -inducing hosannas they could heap upon the Turkey-in-chief.

It won't take too many more weeks of killings and bombings to make us remember why the occupation is growing less popular by the day.

9. plus, it got him out of dinner with Poppy and Bar!

When they assured the Shrub that AF1 had anti-missile defenses, I'm sure it looked safer to him than having to sit in Crawford while his mom and dad criticized his handling of the war, the economy, etc.

10. oh hell... they love him!
His parents are the enablers-in-chief! Seeing how his father messed up the economy, left Kurds to fend for themselves after his own Iraqi adventure, and Barb's not-so-veiled death threat (delivered on Larry King Live) against anyone who criticizes her son, I'd say they are the ultimate example of America's head-in-the-sand syndrome. They, like everyone else in Republican Amerika, Fox News, etc., think Bush can do no wrong.

I wish you were right, but no, the entire Bush clan is shit-sucking scumbuckets of filth and disease. They look out for their own, Mafia-style.
