Buchanan for President
The "Republican Challenger" just returned to Miami from the big "Hate Bush" extravaganza in LA last night. The idea for my head-on candidacy against Bush generated good response and ideas. We are narrowing the focus of my campaign to 9/11 (supported by 9/11 wives and families), the war failure, Patriot Act, growing deficits, and the big constant -- Bush's LIES.
I need grass-roots help and $$$ from Democrats NOW, as I am supposed to leave for New Hampshire next week to begin my assault on Republican sensibilities.
Pleaase get involved and help. I need donors and volunteers in new Hampshire, California and Florida.
Thanks. Keep the faith. Here's my new slogan regarding Bush:
I SMELL TOAST BURNING...DO YOU?

2. What does that mean?
I'm all for planting a Bush, but I need help...and that is of course meant as a peacful, non-violent "planting."
Will you help me do my job in NH?

4. My policy
The difference between me and Bush is that I'll get in the toaster in the first place. My "big 3" campaign issues are:
1) Break the corporate stranglehold on politics and government, against the interests of "we the people."
2) End war profiteering by former government officials and Washington insiders.
3) Reform the media NOW.
The next toast I want to smell burning is The New York Times and ABC News, not to mention Fox, ewt. all. -- the media have become true enemies of the people. To me, they are more guilty even than Bush, because by "blacking out" important news we have a right (and need) toi know, they bias and bungle other "news."
Thanks. PLEASE HELP ME. i CAN'T GET MUCH DONE ALONE...

5. You'll "get in the toaster in the first place'? On live TV?
what is your administrations position on quality reality television programs?

6. A serious reply
I've been a journalist and media/news exec for 33 years - in NY, LA, Washington and Miami. In general, the way media is utilized in this country is absurd, in terms of fulfilling any reasonable obligation to "inform the public of what it needs to know." By that example, my administration would 1) reform the media, and 2) hope "reality TV" became a bad joke of a past era.
Thanks.
