How does the media report if and when Saddam is killed or captured ?
Do they report this as the final step in Bush's victory in the war over Iraq? Will it just be a matter of time before the Iraqi people accept the new government setup ? Will they show his dead body on Iraqi TV also?

Since it appears that the US troops are very close to capturing or killing Saddam, can we anticipate how the media will report once it happens? Will the lies about WMDs and nuclear capabilities and smallpox and anthrax, etc be forgotten once the Bush nemesis is taken care of?

What will the media report?

1. Ouday and Qusay were part of a deal that Saddam
(if he is still alive) just made with his Iraqi successors, to turn Iraq over to them, while he disappears one way or another. They collect the reward money, lay low for a while, and then turn the guerilla activity up.

What happened to all of those Royal Guard who just melted into the background population? Follow the money; how were those folks being paid, where is their money now, and what kinds of controls are there over the money they made being part of Saddam's Iraq?

Why were Ouday and Qusay nearly ALONE when cornered?

3. It will be the ONLY thing talked about for weeks.
It will be like the pulling down of that statue. Over and over and over and over.

4. when they need a "big story" to cloud the issues.....
I believe he is already being held.

The 911 report, energy task force, voting scam (blackbox) are stories that have significant legs...any of them capable of huge implications. The timing will be made just like all the rest.

5. Interviews with victims of Saddam ?
They would be on all the cable networks detailing the cruelties of Saddam but will say they never came forward because of "fear" while Saddam was alive...

6. Saddam
or Osama (pick one, they've become interchangable) will be found, captured or killed during the Democratic Convention.

Just guessing but nothing BushCo does surprises me anymore.

7. I notice CNN is already talking about this...
The motives for war change with the capture of Saddam? This tape will self-destruct in 10 seconds.....You will forget everything you ever heard about WMDs and other reasons to go to war...
