What we're up against:
This is sickening, how people love to combine religion and religiosity with their politics. This writer would probably sign over all of her civil rights to annoint George "king" for life. Once again, the attacks are designed to demonize the Democratic Party:

Letter to the editor:
The Victoria Advocate - http://TheVictoriaAdvocate.com
God wants us all to support Bush

Sunday, December 21st, 2003

Editor, the Advocate:
In the December Charisma magazine, on the letters page, there are five letters out of seven that are so hateful and venomous toward our president that they sadden me.

He is a wonderful, born-again Christian leader trying to prevent another 9/11 from happening on our shores and helping to liberate the oppressed people of Iraq.

The people who call him evil and want to stop and defeat all his efforts are of the world and not of God.

He was put in power by our Creator for such a time as this.

Jesus said it all in John 15:16-19. Read it.

I know President Bush goes to God in prayer every day, and in humble obedience, he prays for wisdom and guidance to try and solve problems he faces and bring some sanity to this chaotic world we are living in.

I love him and am so proud of him.

God is in control, and we, as his people, know this battle is between good and evil for souls.

I will continue to pray for Bush, his family, his administration, America and the world.

3. Well on that note
Then let's thank God for Atheism. Unfortunately, Atheism may soon be illegal.

4. There were people who liked Hitler too
You are going to believe what you want.
Dogmatized people are inescapable - ideally they are not in so many positions
of responsibilty - or can keep a level of distance between the public and private self.

I don't trust anyone who is influenced that much by a religeous doctrine.
This is all about angel food cake - i.e. Sanctimonious drivel.
I don't believe this is from a very educated person - but then Bush is not exactly an intellectual giant either. His handlers manage his world view for him.

What was that quote about the Devil being able to quote scripture?

Be afraid, be very afraid.
