Brian Lamb reeeeeeeaaly digs Lucianne Goldberg
I'm still fussing over the behavior of c-span's Brian Lamb on Friday's Washington Journal with Lucianne (spit) Goldberg. He giggled, he gossiped, he blushed, he flirted, he tee-heed, he did everything but reach across the desk and squeeze a boob. It was an outrageous session. Perhaps she was flashing him a la Coulter.

Did anyone else see it?

What's bothersome is that it signaled implicit agreement with her derision of democratic values. She would come off with some platitude that American discourse is too full of vulgarity, and he would just let the hypocrisy stand.

just imagine them in a dark, dank room together... Lamb puts on an Al Jolson record and sips prune juice to get in the mood. Goldberg puts out her 232432th cigarette on Lamb's back. He tee-hees in delight.

Jonah Goldberg appears at the door with a glass of milk. "Mother! Mother, no! You said I was the only man in your life!" - his pudgy face contorts in horror.

2. I feel sorry for Jonah
Just think about the trip he had to make just to get into this world. I bet he doesn't look back on with any great affection.

it would be a heartwarming calendar painting suitable for giving away at gas stations.

I remember squinting at those horrid creatures going through some bizarre call in show mating ritual - gag!

5. The truly disgusting thing about her being on is this
It gives legitimacy to her dreck-filled, hateful little website.. She was a two-bit publicist until she managed to weasel her way onto the front pages of our papers...and into the spotlight..

Her idiot son was vaulted into being a "journalist" because of the exposure he got regarding HER behavior.. It's all just so wickedly incestuous.. It reeks !!

I could not bear to even watch it.. I am almost 100& sure that "ole Bri-Bri" did NOT focus the camera on the web pages that bear out the evil little trolls who hang out on her site..

BUT....because she was on c-span, she somehow becomes worthy of being on c-span.. a news-maker.. a mover and shaker..(now there's an image :eyes:..)

Did c-span offer air time to a rival website of comparable zeal??

It's all so hopeless sometimes. Whenever a station wants to "analyze" Dems, they never seem to be able to actually FIND some Dems to participate in the discussion.. Somehow, they can only find AEI or Heritage or Lucianne/Coulter/Luntz types.. They are always "so happy" to tell the world "what is wrong with Democrats"..

But then we DO get to go on and tell the world what is wrong with repubes, don't we?? don't we?? Oh ..wait.. NO ONE wants to even know what we think.. They only care about what our enemies think OF us ..

and we wonder why it's hard to get traction on issues that we have with the current administration... ta-dahhh..

We get little or no air time to refute the claims made about us, and if we dare bring it up, we are whiners/complainers/you name it.. But the other side gets unlimited time to run us down and that's ok..

They do so enjoy themselves too.. don't they??.. And they don't even try anymore to hide their amusement..:( PIGS

6. Once was enough!
I was on her web page once out of curiosity and was appalled beyond belief. Why would c-span have such a person on as a guest???

16. Compare and contrast with his interview of Michael Moore
The Lamb looked like he was about ready to go ballistic the whole time, but managed to restrain himself. Moore was really nice to him, too, giving him kudos for his work with C-Span. Moore carried that interview like Atlas carries the heavens, and Lamb just wanted to put his head on a spike the whole time.

It was so uncomfortable, it's actually funny.

17. that's right! I remember that.
there are times he just can't help himself, and that was one of them.

glad I didn't see LG. I DO hear her on the radio occasionally, though.

did you know she has her own show, apparently rebroadcast on a twelve watter somewhere out in West BF, MN.

AFA CSPAN in general, they need to be taken to task for their clear backing of the regime, both in their presentation of all the government propganda being endless ground out, plus the ubiquitous AEI/Heritage/'Stormfront' seminars, PLUS the clearly skewed ratio of wingnut guests vs. sane ones on Washington Journal and Booknotes.

Big Idea....that picture makes me want to.....well, never mind.

Now, where's Perle, with the you-know-what orbital sockets?

please

seriously

18. Well, you gotta give them a break for regime coverage
After all, their primary job is ostensibly covering the government. If that looks more like propaganda than democracy, it's because of the current severe republican dominance. I'll give them props for completeness, at least -- they broadcast ALL THREE HOURS of the "15-minute" Medicare vote.

While the preponderance of AEI/Heritage/CATO braindumps is annoying, they've also covered Brookings Institution and even Global Exchange, which is more than you'll see on CNN.

19. agreed, mostly, with one caveat that I forgot mention above
shouldn't it be their DUTY to assiduously present the other side, exactly beCAUSE they need to fight the temptation to become just another arm of the perpetual government propaganda machine?

sure, they show the occasional Brookings/other 'liberal' think tank affairs.....and you'll find that Brookings is anything but liberal these days. Just about everyone I see lately is in some capacity supporting the war/intelligence/MI octopus.

where are the Parrys, the Znets, the Buzzflashes, the Counterpunches, the TAPs, the Washington Monthylies, the InTheseTimeses, the Palasts, the Leopolds, the you name them. they NEVER appear. instead, you get the likes of Mrs. Hideo and her homunculus in the span of three DAYS!!!!!!!!

what in the world is going on here??????
