Dear Mr. Perry,

How dare you waste taxpayer money with nonsensical special sessions! Can't you take "No" for an answer?How many walkouts will it take to get it through your head that we don't want redistricting at this time?I know you're getting your marching orders from Tom DeLay, so tell him to back off. Surely you remember how angry the public was at the hearings? We do not want this! The Texas Dems are doing their best to represent their districts which apparently is a concept with which you are unfamiliar. Leave them alone!

Some folks in Texas media are already trying to make it sound as though the Killer D's are wasting taxpayer money instead of Rick Perry. If he'd just tell DeLay to admit defeat for now, the Senate wouldn't be in this mess, and our Senators would be back in Texas where they belong.
