1. At first I was going to jokingly ask you to send a pic.
But then I noticed you live in Chicago, and might not take it as a joke, but as if I was some creep. Just thought I'd mention that. I'm going back to my corner now.

3. I live by the Shakespeare quote
Starts with "It is better to have..."

I never have.

May yours come back in one piece, if the notice is for him to go fight *'s grotesque war. I hate sad endings.

16. Yes it is...
Edited on Tue Apr-20-04 09:09 PM by Mikimouse
the translation is as follows:

Szabadság, szerelem,
E ketto kell nekem.
Szerelmemért feláldozom életemet,
Szabadságért feláldozom szerelmemet.
Petofi Sándor

Freedom, Love
I need both
For my love, I offer my life,
For my freedom, I offer my love
Petofi Sandor is a 19th century Hungarian Poet

23. My use of it as offer...
is meant to convey a sacrificial offer. I could be wrong, but that was nuance that my mother always attached to it.

17. Me too
I even peeked at people around my area. They came up with a handsome 40 year old British dude about 5 miles from me who was highly educated sounded looked fun. Unfortunately, he listed Ayn Rand as his favorite author. :eyes:
Not that I should really be looking yet, but I get curious you know. I honestly don't know what kind of man I'd fit with. Well, I kind of know, but they're a rare breed and a bit too elusive.
