they are a damn good jam band if thats your thing. Sonic Youth and Morrisey could be interesting. The Flaming Lips...could be strange..the others I am not familiar with..not even P.J. Harvey whom I have, of course, heard of but never listened to..

Even though I've seen them in small clubs like a bazillion times or so. NJow they're on a major label and playing stadiums-my little band is growing up on me!

They're the latest group from Feminist/Riot Grrl/Bikini Kill singer Kathleen Hanna. Check out their last cd Feminist Sweepstakes. You won't be disappointed. They had a track on an Ep a few years ago aboout the shooting of Amadou Diallo that was just chilling.
