Good God....I don't have Microsoft Powerpoint, so....
I'm stuck with using Ulead GIF Animator to make a slideshow for tomorrow's presentation. Does anyone know where I can get a free copy of Microsoft Powerpoint? x(

2. You could do a number of things
including....

Install Linux....

Use just about anything to make full size jpgs and use either the xp slide viewer or other slideshow software to pretend it's powerpoint

Make them jpgs and email them to someone with powerpoint, who can just make a slideshow and post back (I could do that for you but timezones mean I will be home drinking beers by then unless you can do it in about 30 mins)

.....

5. Openoffice.org
free office suite - better office than MS office. Also, a powerpoint clone that allows you to save the file in the MS format.

If you have dial up - fuggetaboutit!

7. Download OpenOffice
http://www.openoffice.org/

It's a free office suite and it includes a multimedia presentation program. It's very easy to use and you can save the presentation in PowerPoint format! :)

12. open source rules
OpenOffice just blows.... and before you jump on me, yes, I do get free and LEGAL (serialized, through business OEM) copies of MS products and OpenOffice vs. MS Office is no comparison. But if I wasn't in this situation, then I would say that OpenOffice rules!

It has the equivalent of PP, without the annoying Microsoft name on the label.

It has its own proprietary file format, but it does save to a PP format as well.

Truly a wonderful office suite.

:) Woops, a little late. :)
