Why did majorleaguebaseball.com discontinue that cool game applet?

Why did majorleaguebaseball.com discontinue that cool game applet?
Last year I followed many Angels' day games with this applet that refreshed itself every ten seconds or so. It showed the score, outs, pitch count, baserunners, etc., both as a line score and with symbols on a field.

It's gone! Damn it all to hell! Gameday costs, and I'm not going to pay for it. Even if I find streaming audio of an Angels' game on the internet, chances are our network won't allow it.

...and the Angels had an 8-run inning in there.

Go to: www.mlb.com and hit the little baseball diamond in the Scoreboard/Schedule section...
