4. Four of us are going to Scott's Gulf in White County, TN

To camp by the Caney Fork River and explore a couple of nearby caves. It's possibly my favorite place on earth:

It includes both the Virgin Falls Pocket Wilderness & the Bridgestone/Firestone Centennial Wilderness.

Beautiful rivers and kayaking, 34 miles of trail, lots of wild animals and literally hundreds of caves. It's one of the last great wild places in America. Me so lucky.

I also see that 'girlfriend' is not on the list. An oversight on my part.

6. Bugspray, sunscreen, towel, lantern mantles,

pillows, chairs, basic 1st Aid kit(maybe covered), pipe or papers, what's for breakfast?, dog bowl.

Maybe leave some water jugs if you'll have water to filter. Not much stuff needs to stay cold-will one ice chest suffice? (beer in the creek or lake?)

a battery powered fan can be a lifesaver at bedtime. I discovered that on RAGBRAI last year.
