Going to Las Vegas tomorrow...
Never been there and am not a huge gambler.

What are not to miss attractions in or around Vegas that we need to hit?

Oh, and Mrs. Stuck says "No" on the bordellos.

2. That roller coaster scared me too death
I don't get scared on roller coasters like that but the fact that it was high up and I was looking down freaked the shit out of me. I was also too scared to get close to the edge on top of the Stratoshpere. Man I feel like a wimp. :)

8. I rode it on Thursday
I would suggest that.

Also the Hoover Dam is only 40 minutes away and the Grand Canyon is a ~5 hour drive.

9. The Hoover Dam
Edited on Mon May-10-04 12:15 PM by Stuckinthebush
Is it really spectacular or do you just say, "Well, that's one big dam."

In other words, is it worth the drive?

On edit: I wrote damn...

Edited on Mon May-10-04 12:21 PM by Champ
I seen it bunches of time, it's HUGE but not that impressive. Here is a picture, you can see how big it is by looking at the size of the road compaison to the dam. hXttp:// remove the big X, it's a big PIC.

12. A little of both
I was impressed by it but then I have seen the Discovery channel documentary on making it several times. It's a 40 minute drive.

I do hear that Red Rock Canyon is really nice but we didn't have time to go there.

Even at 5 hours the Grand Canyon IS worth the drive.

Zumanity, and the fountains at the Bellagio.

Rent Ocean's Eleven tonight, to get in the mood. Best Vegas movie ever.

10. Wheel Of Fortune slot machines pay out REALLY REALLY well.
Stick to those, and walk away once you've hit a pot.
