VIVA LA REVOLUCION!!!
Anyone watch Boy Meets Boy tonight? When Sean declares himself proud to be part of the "Gay Revolution?" I didn't get the memo about any "revolution." Now all the good guns are gonna be gone. Does Prada even have a camo line? What about Combat boots? Nothing is going to go with my couture!

1. I missed that memo, too.
Though, being hetero, I probably wasn't on the mailing list.

3. Well...
so was Sean, as it turns out. Out of the 15 guys on the show I guessed 14 right as far as gay and straight! My Gaydar RULES!!!:bounce:

2. I didn't realize waxed brows and gelled hair where revolutionary!
My sister "made" me watch the show with her. The lead guy is reminiscent of Harriet, from "Ozzie and Harriet." I wish the men had more ummph in them. Too white bread for my tastes.

Some of the earlier guys were less white bread. Although there were no Asian or Latinos.

6. Yes tonight and the show reminded me of something...
I once read an interview with Jean Genet. He said that he feared that "gay rights" would eventually strip gays of the "outlaw" status that he thought was so important.

He thought the gay "revolution" would reduce (to him it would be a reduction) gay men to the status of middle-class heterosexual bourgeoisie, and that with that they would lose the impetus for creation and true rebellion. (I'm not saying I agree, but I thought a lot about that tonight.)

5. Waxed eyebrows??!!
Gah.

The things you thankfully miss, in popular culture, when living in a small town...

7. This is absurd, I feel the need to tell you I don't wax mine. LOL
The Horror.
