CSI: Miami
Why do I watch? The writing is terrible and the acting is...well, it's Caruso. And yet, like a fly to a dead body, I am drawn to it. I sat there for an hour watching it. And it was double my fun tonight: CSI:Caruso teamed up with CSI: Sinise to bring me CSI: Miami in New York. Wow! Outsourced!

Is anyone else both repulsed and intrigued by this show?

1. i find caruso kinda boring
dosent have the same kinda thing going for him that the gil ghrisam character does, none of the cast does. and is it just me or are the mysteries in CSI:M a bit easier to solve than the regular csi, and thier not all that plot intensive.

i didnt catch the CSI:NY thing, but i donno ill give it a shot if it makes it to the schedule, but i think CSI:M is getting seconds from the regular show's scripts and im sure CSI:NY will be no different.

2. Me too....
I'm not a fan of Caruso, but I like the rest of the cast enough. I have been fascinated by forensics since Quincy, and worked in medical research for 10 years. It's cool to see a modern version of the show that I was so hooked on as a child, and led to my first career path. While the acting isn't really the best, the storylines are often very creative, and I just love that it's cool to be a science geek on TV! :-)

or searching DU, which is what we did during the show. Plus, the female lead, Melina Kanakaredes was a star on our long-time favorite soap opera, Guiding Light. I've been watching her work for nearly 20 years and she is awesome (in spite of that god-awful show "Providence")

4. I can't and won't watch the CSI spin-offs
Edited on Mon May-17-04 10:44 PM by khephra
William L. Petersen, who also was involved with creating the show, had the show "franchised" against his will and it's a real sore spot with him, so sore he won't talk about it with the press.

You don't have many of the original CSI people involved with the spin-offs, so that's why they'll all be weaker.
