Is Jay Leno a repuke?
I've stopped watching him (never really did in the first place) but everytime I see him he's cozying up with Gov. Gropenator, popping up at the Corrospondants Dinner, and yesterday I think he had FLOTUS on the show. But he cracks jokes about both sides. Does anyone know if he's just playing show-biz, or does he have a political lean he's pressing?

1. He's a whore.
Yeah, he'll make (unfunny) jokes about both sides, but he's just a whore.

Thank God for Dave!

3. Can't be bothered to care...
My 10:00 - 10:30PM belongs to Jon Stewart. Only Jon may have my love and my loyalty.

Leno can kiss da baby!

4. Is he funny? God, I miss Johnny Carson.
Even on his WORST nights, Carson was 1,000,000 times funnier than Jay Leno. I don't give a damn personally what Leno's politics are, but I'm convinced Leno gave up his sense of humor to become the Tonight Show host.

12. I think the only reason for that is that he has more affiliates than Dave.
Dave wins more awards than Limpo.

7. The show bis bush
stole his job from the real king,

has no talent

makes himself look good only by comparing himself to even dumber people in the street.

if it was not for the success of the other NBC shows during his first couple years he would have been gone.

It was so sad to watch Sienfeld and other NBS hit show stars carrying him almost every night during his destruction of the tonight show.

Also he is a liar like bush that believes his own lies.

Not that there is any bitterness at him displacing the greatest comic of late night TV.

8. If he's not, then he's probably hoping Kerry will win in November
not for the fact that he would like Kerry as Pres, but for the fact that his hands will come untied and he can make 30 times the number of unfunny jokes about the President as he could under Bush.

9. Leno breaks guinness record for ass kissing
Can this guy stop kissing ass for a second and
ask one tough question? I know he thinks he's a comedian
and he's there to get laughs but get in touch with reality
and have some edge for christ sakes. American soldiers are dying for this administration's hubris and mistakes and Leno has the first lady two feet away and he wants to pretend that we're living in pleasantville. Everything he asks is orchestrated, pre-written,
pre-screened, rehearsed and people buy it. When
he walked Laura off the stage I wanted to kick the TV.
Anyway, I can't stand the guy. He probably thinks that if he's
nice enough to Laura, he'll be invited back to the white house
correspondents' dinner to tell his lame jokes. He's a joke.

10. Probably not, but he does as asked
He's more concerned about how his career might be affected than how the country is being ruined. After all, his show is very mainstream. Sometimes I find him funny, but less lately. Headlines and Jay Walking are still great.

13. Headlines and JayWalking ARE funny.
Headlines was funny when National Lampoon called it "True Facts," and JayWalking was funny when Howard Stern called it "The Homeless Game."

You gotta hand it to Jay... he only steals from the best!
