question for web graphics gurus please...
what is the secret for getting colored text to display properly on a black background. click on the logo link in my sig or the ?W home page and scroll down to the postcard design to see the problem. I've tried jpg and gif formats with no luck... the image prints perfectly but in a browser, smudge-city. thanks in advance.

1. Get a better monitor, it looks fine to me.
Although contrasting blue and red like that could lead to problems, try more complimentary colors.

now that's interesting! (since I'm on a laptop, replacing the monitor would be tricky but it's good to know it's NOT my design or formatting options! since the show is 'political' I'm going to stick with Red/white/blue but have not 'finalized' the design. i think I need a brighter blue.. thanks!!

3. ahh, lcds tend to blur more (I think)
they can't handle contrast as well. I'd leave it for now, and check it out on some public terminal.
