9. Generally, the Sun-Times is worse
Sun-Times employs Robert Novak. But both papers tend to be "Conservative".

8. Christian Science Monitor
When I was a journalism student, back in the early 60s, many of our profs told us that the CSM was one of the best, most non-partisan, newspapers in the U.S.

I think it still is today, and I read it online every morning at
