Todays great posts from mostly conservative politics forum
I love looking around the political boards on various everyday forums. I frequent the one at http://www.orioleshangout.com and have been banned a bazillion times for "Propaganda." Today, I was absolutely tickled to read some of these posts.

In a thread on the berg beheading:

Southernbird wrote:

Who was it that said...."Walk softly and carry a big stick" one of our greatest presidents Teddy R, and guess what HE WAS A DEMOCRAT! Today's Democrats have no resemblence to what was once a great party.

Amaralfan1 (one of my favorites because he's SUCH a moron) wrote:

That’s right, instead of arguing a point or even trying to defend what I accuse you of, you instead stoop to junior high techniques of insulting the person’s activities and even the way he spelt something.

Cause, I misspell a word in haste, and come back to a coward who has put it in his signature line to gloat. When I privately message you to remove it, you do not respond, and a day later replace it with the line someone used to defend me. Result, you are a coward who at one point made great political points while being respectful. That appears to no longer the case.

(I like how he wants us to know that he knows what the word "haste" means).

Can you find any other disgusting/hilariously bad ones?

Marty

3. I really just wish
I really wish I could post again (I've run out of e-mail addresses to register accounts with) just to point out how Teddy Roosevelt is a great example of a once great party, since he was, indeed, a republican. Trustbustas 4 eva!

4. Another one from AmaralFan
Fairfax says CNN is in business to get ratings therefore it is negative against his administration because that is what the people want.

I say, then why is Fox News beating them in the ratings (which is implying that more people do not want the constant bashing of the administration)

BRob says that basically higher ratings don’t mean it is better news. (The NE comment).

You see, Brob is arguing a totally separate point. The argument is what gets better ratings, Fox News (pro Bush) or CNN (anti Bush). Brob is merely trying to throw in a cheap shot at Fox News, because it does not even relate to the debate that was going on.

But, by his logic, if MSNBC and CNN are so liberal leaning, if we add both of thier viewerships together, does that beat Fox News in the ratings? Then more people truly want liberal programming. I don't know the viewship numbers though.
