The CEO pResident and his complete lack of mistakes
Edited on Wed May-26-04 08:12 AM by ABB_15501
It is interesting that everyone but * - even Wolfowitz- seems to be admitting that "mistakes have been made"

If * is CEO of this "corporation", trying to sell us a 'product', and all of his top managers are making mistakes that cause it to be very hard to sell the 'product', then wouldn't any prudent company either change the product, stop trying to sell it, get rid of the 'mistake' prone managers or at least change the advertising agency?

* saying that the enlistees at Abu Graihb are the ones who are responsible for the abuse is like saying the batboy is responsible for the ___________ being such a lousy team.

Moderator- Please change to a different forum, if you wish. I forgot where I was.

1. "Pirates"
...is the team name you're looking for. :)

2. Hey- they're improving...
which is a lot more than can be said for a lot of teams, some with much higher payrolls. (NYM?)

Also, going to PNC park is a pleasure, compared to the dungeon they used to play in.

3. I really want to see a game at PNC...
Edited on Wed May-26-04 08:33 AM by Richardo

...my parents went there during the opening season and were blown away. I went to a game at Forbes Field in 1969, and a few games at Three Rivers :puke: whenever I traveled to the 'Burgh.

On a positive note, I've got four field level seats for all three Pirates games here in Houston on June 21-23. If they finish at .500 I'll consider it a very successful season.
