I'm about to do something I've never done before
I'm about to finish using a whole package of coffee filters.

They sell those filters like ten thousand to a package, or so it seems. For years and years and years and years, I've moved into a new place and gone shopping for new-apartment supplies. Every time, I've bought a package of coffee filters. Every time, upon moving again, it seemed like I never made a dent in the package.

I bought this package of filters in February, and I have been working from home. I make coffee every day because I work from home, something that was missing for those years. Every day, I used a filter, from February to today.

The day after tomorrow, I will finish the package of coffee filters.

Woo!

I use one of those reusable ones myself, so I can't really relate to your sense of accomplishment. :)

3. Sometimes life's smallest victories are the most satisfying.
Next you get to bitch about how much more expensive coffee filters are now than they were the last time you bought them.

20. or a tube of Chapstick
I don't believe I've ever used up one. I always lose them, or they melt in the car, or they get stale, so I buy new ones.

15. Given the context, I'm not sure
if "rolls like a hot knife through butter" was the best way to put it.

Your well being is important to us here at comedy central, errr, DU.

Can I have some of your coffee? I was up late counting primary votes (we use paper and pencils here in Tiny Town) and I am not an evening person. My world is askew this AM.

any Zombie Coffee in the Lounge? I think I have somebody's hangover. :hangover:

me and Mrs. McLargehuge consume AWESOME amounts of coffee... Me more-so than her now due to her... er... condition... but I've been trying to keep our average up. So far it's not bad... 30 minutes of sleep a night and 50000 pee pee breaks.
