Ah! Kids Bombard me with letters - demanding a water park

Here's a couple I've got about seven from the local grade two class... kids are so funny.


Dear Editor, we got a great idea when we went to Merrit to see our pen-pals. OUr class and our pen-pals in Merritt went to the water park. Our class and Grade threes were wondering if we could have a water park?
One of the reasons is to give people something to so when it is hot outside or if they are travelling and have kids that are hot.
Can you please make this water-park happen. Princeton Really needs a water park bad.

Dear editor,

When we went on a field trip to Merrit to see our pen-pals we went to the water park. We got a great idea! Maybe we could start a water park here. The one in Merrit has spray and tubes to run through. We need it because Princeton get so hot. The water park is free. I think we should have it at Rotary Park because then there are wash rooms and water. Everyone would use it. Please.

(EDIT) I should add all of them have better handwriting than I do.

Seriously, I've been wondering myself. I think they may be meaning to address the letters to the adults of the town.

Always walking on top of the attractions, never getting wet...

Anyway, maybe one of your "feature writers" could use the letters for a cutesy article on a slow news day.
