1. Not to scold, but...

You're spending way too much time in places where it doesn't matter, and not enough time where it does.

Do us all a favor. Go pick up a phone-book and look up your local state democratic party HQ. Find out where your county and congressional district. Start attending the meetings. Become a Precinct Captain. Walk your neighborhood. Distribute lawn signs. Man the phone banks. Go "table" events.

Sure, selling your Party is rarely comfortable. It's often frustrating. You'll have to learn to be civil to voters who have been completely propagandized, or are complete lunatics. You may also end up having to deal with Democrats who do their party more harm than good. But in the end, it's worth it.
