There has been a lot of research lately on blueberries, and they appear to be a wonder food.

6. So how long until big pharmacies patent BlueBerries?
I don't eat blueberries, however I eat grapes. The article also mentions grapes have a similar effect but use a different chemical.

8. Patent blueberries, you may be correct
because they have been taking out patents on DNA and everything else under the sun.

9. If you haven't tried these cereals yet, PLEASE DO!!
http://www.naturespath.com/products/product_find.asp

Look under the Optimum Power selector and check out the Power Breakfast. It is ORGANIC, has freeze-dried blueberries in it, whole flax seeds that give a buttload of fiber (sorry, couldn't resist), is naturally sweet instead of loaded with excess sugar and at Trader Joe's it is only $2.29 a box! The pumpkin seed granola is also incredibly good.

10. we have blueberry bushes in our yard
so for three months of the year I eat blueberry muffins, pie, crumble, cake, pancakes, raw, on cereal, etc...

Guess I am doing the right thing.

Anecdotal story of blueberry goodness!!!

My wife's uncle started eating blueberries every day (he has a whole mess of bushes in his yard) and his eyesight improved to the point where he could see colors again, or so Mrs. McLargehuge tells me.

Take that for what it's worth.

11. They're also good for maintaining
a healthy urinary tract. Try cranberry-blueberry juice; but avoid those brands with added sugar or corn syrup.

12. Dubya to ban Canadian blueberry imports
The FDA today announced that it has placed a ban on the importation of Canadian blueberries because the cannot gaurantee the safety of these drug like substances.

The FDA would like to remind Americans that the importation of drugs made in the United States, and re-imported into the country from Canada remains illegal.

NOTE:
The FDA remains committed to protecting America's pharmaceutical industry profits.
