Best air guitar song?
Edited on Tue Aug-24-04 10:31 AM by kmla
I'd have to say "Hocus Pocus" by Focus.

What do you think?

On edit: It has yodeling, too! Does it get any better than that?

Buck Dharma has the worst "rock face" ever.

With the possible exception of Don Dokken.

17. mandolin seems like it would be hard to play...frets so close
together...never tried though. How is it normally tuned? Like on guitar standard tuning goes e-a-d-g-b-e,of course many like alernate tunings...keith richards for one,and drop d tuning has become popular in recent years.

19. `No one in their right mind would ever play the mando
I will say that from the start. except for the tone - its such a sweet instrument.
If the demon bites, you're going to make it work.
I know - small fretboard, viscous chords - but the fretting positions are not bad.

Tuning : this is the cool thing. Its tuned like a violin - double courses, ( GDAE )
and after that , most of the progressions are the 1-4-5s
but I'd learn the other scales too - I was a guiratist for years.
Now the phone is ringing more often.

I would pick one up on a loan for a while, down load some chords and have a go at it.

18. Jimi was the greatest...
sure there were some more technical but he had a musical feel that can't be topped...what todays players need to get is soul...Jimi had tons of it and a mind that never stopped thinking musically....he was the master.
