I'm one of those rare women who still has morning sickness in her 8th month. There was a very sad peach incident this morning. :(

8. I prefer nectarines.

It seems every time I buy peaches, they are either mealy, dry or just bad in some other way. Nectarines taste the same to me and hold up better. I did buy some very good Jersey peaches. Maybe it just depends the area but whenever we get peaches from the South they are usually mushy, dry, mealy or whatever. And I am tired of throwing them out.
