Alice Cooper was my era's Marilyn Manson and now the Christian Right is welcoming him with open arms. I'm busting a gut right now!

People with low IQ's have short memory spans.

1. Yeah, it's pretty funny
He's been a hack for 30 years. Anything for money and attention with that guy.

5. He killed my youth when he did "Clones (We're All)"
I almost cried when I first heard that song.

2. Hmmm....
that's so Christianly right wing of him considering that his concerts consist of demonology, beheadings, ghouls, satanic images, etc. What it is with Repubes and beheadings?? Well I still like songs like "School's Out" (W.'s anthem I'm sure!), "Only Women Bleed", "No More Mr. Nice Guy" (Powell's anthem??) and "Welcome to My Nightmare" (another Chimp anthem indeed). And his concerts back in the 70s were fun filled acid tripping, hallucinatory craziness--aaaahhhh! those were the days!

That's right up the right to lifers alley's.

Alice Cooper was my idol back when I was a kid.

6. I saw him on TV when I was 3 doing "I'm Eighteen"
and I just loved it. It changed my life, and then I discovered punk rock later on, and the rest is history. :)

9. I sat all night in line for concert tickets
I ended up with 3rd row tickets and he had baby boa's on stage with him.

It was more like "Welcome to my Nightmare" because I am afraid of snakes.

11. I'm gone off on so many Alice Cooper tangents here
I'm sure people are sick of it, but I love the actual Alice Cooper group, you know, with Glen Buxton, Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith and Michael Bruce. They all got canned in '74 or so, then Alice did his solo thing. Those albums they all did together, up through Billion Dollar Babies were freaking amazing. I still listen to them a lot, actually!

Even though he's a Republican idiot! :hi:

12. I love Billion Dollar Babies

The concert that I went to Neal Smith was stabbed in the back when a crazy fan threw a knife on the stage while they were performing "Sick Things".

I think that Neal is one of the tallest drummers in rock history besides the guy from Elvis Costello. :hi:

15. Oh man, where and when was that?
Damn, where's my time machine!!! I would have loved to have seen that! That's totally crazy!! :hi:

And yes, it would be interesting to do a comparison to see if he is the tallest drummer in rock & roll! :D
