Any Matthew Sweet fans out there?

I just bought a ticket to see his new band, The Thorns, open for The Jayhawks on Sunday night. (This'll date me: The Jayhawks opened for my band twice in the old days...)

I haven't heard The Thorns yet, but the reviews sound promising. Plus, I loved Chris Stamey & Peter Holsapple's stuff--this sounds similar.

is Ok, sounds some like Crosby, Stills and Nash and early America(now who is showing their age?)

Actually sounds like the JHawks too. Concert sounds good which venue?

Haven't kept up with him, but he was great back in the day.
