Would you ride in a car that had a Bush/Cheney for Pres sticker?
Just wondering. If no, are there any circumstances that would cause you to reconsider?

If you have a Kerry/Edwards sticker on your vehicle, have you ever had anyone refuse to ride with you?

1. I'd duck my head if I was in a car with a Bushit sticker on it.

2. If they kidnapped me first
I don't know anyone with a Bush/Cheney sticker on their car, so the chances of this are slim.

11. Thank you. I would sit in it for 7 minutes (maybe longer) before I
got up to get out of the car, also.

:hi:

4. I won't even talk to anybody with a "Bush/Cheney" button on their person.
Why would I even consider riding in their car...especially if it has a repuke bumper sticker?

I mean, come on, they are our fellow Americans, right?

Besides, those big-ass SUV's have more room than my Ford Aspire....

12. Excellent point.
One would probably never see a BC04 sticker on a car w/ tires smaller than 15s.

Hmm, wait a minute . . . I work for a Republican who drives a Honda hybrid. So much for my blanket judgements.

18. fellow Americans?
Thats not what I call them. And yes I would ride in a car with a * sticker on it but after I got in I would stuff a fish under the seat when they were not looking and flip everybody off at all the stop lights. Then when I got to a pay phone I would call the plate in as a stolen vehicle and tell the cops I believe the driver is drunk. And then.......

9. I have taken a ride in a "Bushmobile"
my father's - no choice because I'm too young to drive. If given the option of riding with someone with a Bush sticker I would outright refuse...I don't have a reputation to uphold, I'm only 14, but the liberals I know would look at me funny.

10. I actually did, one week ago
I was the not-so-proud driver of a car with 2 Bush stickers. One was simply an oval that read "W '04". The other sticker said, "Young Professionals for George W. Bush". I silently thought about the irony, considering the million jobs lost under Bush.

The story was this. My Aunt had just left her husband, an awful Republican. I think she's Republican as well, but isn't rude about it. The husband put the sticker on her car without permission. I was just praying that nobody I knew would notice me. :scared:

13. Damn. How is your aunt now?
Has she found a place to stay? Is he an asshole chasing her? Does she have kids??

Too many questions?! I really hope she's well, TS.

15. She's okay
They moved three hours away to Central Florida. She has two kids, both of whom need major psychological help. The husband put them through 17 years of hell before she finally made the decision to leave.

14. Yes! A fellow grad student is a Bush supporter!!!!! It's
unbelievable to me that a student of neuroscience would support him. Especially with his stance on stem cells. I have avoided getting into her car!! Everyone thinks I'm neurotic but I think she's DAMN CRAZY!!

17. If someone's got enough screws loose to put a Chimp/FU sticker in their...
...car then what are the odds they knew to fill it with gasoline? What are the odds they've got only 1 leg per pant leg? What are the odds that they know what it means when that flashy light thingy goes red?

No. I wouldn't park my car in the same lot.

20. NO! But I forced a lifelong Republican to ride in a Clinton car!!!
It was absolutely hysterical!

He couldn't say no because he was a long-time client and I hadn't seen him for a few years. I happened to be back in town, and saw him walking down the street.

He tried to make me drop him off before we got all the way to his house so all of his Dem neighbors wouldn't harrass him. Nothin' doin'. I took him all the way home!

"Oh no, don't be silly, we have so much to catch up on!"

HA! Got him back for the $3 "Bill" he thought was so funny!

Having said all that, I really liked the guy in many ways. He was just an old southern guy and stuck in his ways.

21. I've forced Repukes at work to ride in my Keryymobile
because they wanted someone other than themselves to drive to a function we had to attend. Serves them right.

I think I would not ride in a Bushmobile. I get infuriated when I see Bush yard signs, stickers, etc. I always think "What kind of fucking asshole lives in that house?" or "How stupid are those people?" etc. If my car wasn't still in decent shape and I didn't believe in the first ammendment, I would consider "accidentally" swerving into some yards.
