Brent Spiner set to appear in trilogy of episodes of Enterprise
Edited on Tue Aug-31-04 12:52 AM by Cannikin
SPOILERS!

Well, Ol' Yellow Eyes is back — but this time his eyes aren't yellow. Brent Spiner has returned to Paramount to create his fifth major character in Star Trek (after Data, Lore, Dr. Noonien Soong and B-4), and was able to do it without a lot of makeup. With "Borderland," which completed principal photography on Monday, Spiner began a three-episode arc featuring an ancestor of Noonien Soong, Dr. Arik Soong, a notorious figure of the 22nd century whose crimes now threaten to ignite a new Eugenics War.

The episode also features an appearance by J.G. Hertzler and the largest wrestler in the WWE. Oh, and there's an Orion Slave Girl.

4. I try to watch it, try to like it...but it's just not Star Trek...
With Voyager, I liked it right away. With DS9, it took a while to grow on me, but it did.

Enterprise - why does that show bore me so very much?

Is it just that every possible "Trek" permutation has already been done?

6. I like Enterprise alright -- just always miss it.
Any ship WITHOUT some stupid holodeck is a step in the right direction. If we could only get away from time travel....

Voyager pissed me off inthe first season -- every episode had some time anomoly in it.

TNG pissed me off becauae the holodeck ran the ship more often than the crew.

DS9 never lived up tot he potential, and then just got weird.

the Movies are what really pisse me off -- Generations had so many plot holes, I just sat in the theatre pissed off. -- for those of you who don;t remember -- Instead of buying a cheap shuttle to fly into whatever they called the aonomoly, the antagonist builds a tower, but not tall enough, for him to stand on when the anomoly passes so he can return to it. The solution for this inexplicable plannjing fiasco? Why he shoots what has to be a very pricey missile into a start to stop its fusion. I am not usre how stopping a fusion reaction is going to change the mass (and the gravitational pull) of the star, but that's the plan.

Dumb
Dumb
Dumb
Dumb
Dumb

But gee they did get to blow up another enterprise -- which was cool the first time they did it...
