8. See, that's what's weird. And what got me in trouble last week.

I can still see a human being when I look at any individual member of the Bush administration. Taken as a whole? I despise it. The administration. But singly? They're people. :shrug:

But by doing what he's done in his lifetime and in the past few years, he's made himself a symbol of so many bad things. And when I call him a heartless ogre, I'm using allegorical hyperbole. But he's a symbol, the world over, for greed and warmongering and everything that's wrong with this administration.

He makes me so angry, you see, it's very hard not to call names. And it's hard for me to say that a greedy, conniving bastard like him doesn't DESERVE to be called names like this.

The man absolutely disgusts me. ALL the faces at the RNC disgust me. Because I know for a fact, that they are working AGAINST the common good of humanity, and FOR the common good of their pocketbooks.

What is evil if not the greedy and callous disregard for the good of humanity?

I don't know. But this is how *I* see modern day evil. And I see many of our leaders, human beings though they may be, as the FACES of it. The symbols of it.

I completely understand what you've said here, and I agree with you. I agree, the BFEE and just about everyone who works for them is evil. (I refuse to lump in pages and interns. Maybe they're just stupid or awestruck in the presence of celebrity.)

I just have this thing -- curse or gift, I don't know, and it doesn't matter because I can't shake it -- where I also see them as human. I don't want them to burn in hell, if there is a hell. I would, in fact, piss on 'em if they were on fire. But I do want them to suffer here, on earth, the way they've made others suffer.

We can't deny that these people are human beings (until we find out they're robots, that is! ;)), and to do so would be to lose a portion of our own humanity.
