"The Girl Next Door" is a surprisingly good movie.
Last weekend I rented this movie on a whim, because I was in the mood for a mindless comedy. And Elisha Cuthbert is smokin' hot on the DVD cover.

But it was actually really good. Yes, it was pretty formulaic with all the high school archetypes represented, but it didn't seem forced like in the American Pie movies. And Elisha Cuthbert is smokin' hot. When I was in high school, I knew a guy exactly like the horny, porn-obsessed friend in this movie ("If you don't fuck her, I'll fuck you!"), which made the premise all the more believable, for me at least. And Elisha Cuthbert is smokin' hot.

Normally I hate it when people use this word to describe movies, but this one was really sweet. Definitely worth a rental.

And Elisha Cuthbert is smokin' hot.

2. Yes.
Yes she was.

In fact, you might say she was smokin' hot.

5. Unrated.
And I didn't notice anything that seemed too excessive for an R rating, either. There were a few shots of the Horny Friend watching porn, but it was just bouncing boobies.:bounce: :bounce:

7. Kind of...
You never see nipple, but it comes close. There's a scene where she's undressing and the main character is watching her from his window, and there's a pretty nice side view, but that's it. And that almost makes her even more smokin' hot.

8. I haven't seen it, and I don't watch films like it really
BUT...I can say that there was something in the ads that caught my attention, and I'm not talking about the sexual aspect of the film. It looked to me like it just might be a fun movie.

(Then again, I still have a soft spot for the Porky's films of my youth. They really had some major anti-Right Wing themes in those films if you pay attention.)

10. I liked it 1/2-ways.
I thought the first hour or so was a canny little update of "Risky Business," right down to the Tangerine Dream-ish soundtrack, the kid's parents, and the motif of the boy taking out the trash. I also liked Tim Oliphant, as I always do, as the post-modern Guido the killer pimp (much better than Joe Pants in RB).

But the plot went just plain wacky as some point.

EC was both smokin' and hot.

11. I HATED it
Incredibly offensive to me. The Cambodian kid was just too much. I walked out the theater.
