Your QB choices are excellent, Manning is a top caliber player, and Carson Palmer is promising, could be great if this is a keeper league. Your RBs are a bit shakier. James is a solid, though no longer spectacular running back. He could return to MVP form this year, but don't count on it. K Jones is a solid rookie on a sub par team, never a good combination, while T. Jones has never lived up to his potential, and probably won't playing for Chicago where he'll split carries with A. Thomas behind a marginal line. No other way to say it, your WRs are a disaster. L. Coles is not going to thrive in a run happy Gibbs offense, and with no other serious WR threat, he'll be double teamed all the live long day. L. Fitzgerald is a great rookie playing on a crappy team made worse by some serious injuries. M. Booker is walking into the Dolphins mess, and will be dragged down by it. With no R. Williams, and thus no Miami running game, defenses will tee off on the receivers each and every game, thus limiting the points of any Miami receiver. T. Calico was sprained both of his knees last night in the exhibition game against Dallas, and while nobody on the Titans thinks it is a major injury, those nagging season long injuries do tend to drag a player down. In addition Calico had a bad case of the dropsies last year, and after watching the game last night, I think that is going to continue this year. Your TEs are OK, though you're taking a bit of a risk with Winslow. Even his great dad had a sub-par rookie year. Keep a close eye on him, and switch in Graham if Winslow starts to falter. Bucs D simply isn't what it used to be, they're rebuilding, and doing so without the great defensive mind of Tony Dungy behind it. I think we've seen the last of the awesome TB defense, at least for awhile. Bears D is mediocre at best, and right now some key players(Brian Urlacher among others) are hurt. And I hope that you have another kicker behind M. Anderson, for he is in a fight to get the starting spot. If he does nail it down, you'll probably be golden, but right now it is anyone's call whether or not he gets the job.
Sorry to be so harsh, I'm not trying to rain on your parade at all. You said you wanted some honest opinions, and that is my honest opinion. If I were you with this team, I would wait five weeks and see how things are shaking out. If, for instance, Carson Palmer is going gangbusters, yet your WRs are slumping, dangle Manning out on the trade circuit for somebody like T Owens or R. Moss. Or better yet, keep an eye out on the players that are undrafted and see who is heating up(a couple of players are overlooked every year and can be gotten cheap), pick them up and drop your dead wood. But like I said, I would wait four or five weeks to let things shake out. Too many people want to change their team right away, and wind up dumping somebody who turns out to be gold, wait for it and that gold could be yours.
Good luck, and most of all have fun.
