Is sex worth the effort? Discuss.
I mean, don't you ever find yourself thinking "I wonder how the (insert your favorite team's name here) did today?" while in the middle (beginning or end) of if?

2. Love Is Worth the Effort
Sex is a pale imitation. With artificial sweeteners, which cause cancer.

4. If I simply discounted all sex for my ability to be distracted during it..
I'd never, ever have any, ever.

Doesn't mean it's not worth the effort.

Just means I lack focus. I don't mind wondering if I remembered to take the ground beef out of the freezer for dinner if, well, I'm having sex too.

5. Never think that. But, I'm not in a long term relationship.
I always wonder if that happens inevitably when you've been with someone for years and years.

I hope you're joking. I've been with my SO for over 12 years. We love each other more now than ever and the sex? I don't want to make anyone blush. It gets better and better when you're with the right person.

11. Sex is the most spiritual thing known to me
Whenever I make love with my boyfriend, it's like an out of body experience.
It is truly knowing another's heart. It's terrifying, in a way.
But nirvana.

22. the effort
that goes into trying to get sex is not worth it.

however, after all that hard work, you need to get your frustration and stress out somehow, wherein it becomes definitely worth it

27. Nope.
Here's how sex breaks down:

1. Meet a person you might be interested in having sex with, all the while awkwardly trying to break the ice due to either the other person's or your own social imcompetence.
2. Get to know said person. Pretend to like things they like, like boy bands, little ceramic figurines, NASCAR, golf, jerk chicken..you get the idea.
3. Give gifts to the person, buy them dinner, take them out and do many other things for a long while that cost money. Lots of money. Gobs of stinking, stinking money.
4. Have sex. Sex, in America, is defined as a five-minute act with someone who acts like an epileptic walrus because said person doesn't do a damn thing to ever improve their lovemaking skills.

Time investment to get to sex: A week, minimum, most of the time.
Time investment having sex: Five minutes.

Worth it? Hell no. Catch up on some reading. Watch paint dry. Brush your teeth. Always remember that, in a relationship, you spend FAR more time doing degrading, stupid, self-abusive things to make your partner "happy" than you spend doing fun things like sex or watching "Cops." Sex is fleeting, but emotionally-hurt exes fuck with you forever.

28. A very thoughtful reply.
I admit that sex is necessary (at present) for procreation.

But otherwise?

Let's just cuddle.

I get better orgasms on my own....

35. If it were only 5 minutes I wouldn't get distracted
Sometimes I get distracted, sometimes not. I am less likely to get distracted if it lasts under a half hour because I don't have a long attention span.
My husband and I aren't very demanding of each other. Of course sex is worth it.
