at a time when truth seems to be very relative, it is heartening to know that those folks who developed the Constitution were really smart. I was just explaining to my son why there are three branches of government, checks and balances and why dictators are bad. George Washington did not want to be a dictator and the founders did not want kings. Good thing, too.
