World chess champion Vladimir Kramnik of Russia and Hungarian challenger Peter Leko drew game 2 of their world title chess match in the Swiss resort town of Brissago today.
Leko, playing Black, agreed to Kramnik's offer of a draw before making his eighteenth move.
Kramnik won the first game and leads the scheduled 14-game match 1.5-0.5. The winner will be the first player to obtain 7.5 points with a victory counting as a full point and a draw as half a point. In the event of a 7-7 tie, Kramnik will retain the title, but the prize money will be divided equally.
Leko will play White in the third game, which is scheduled for Tuesday at 13:00 GMT (3 pm local time/6 am PDT).
