It doesn't matter what my local lingerie store, Flannel will remain unsexy

They have a big fancy display in the window of the La Senza store in the mall across from my work. Bored mannequins pose draped in thick flannel pyjamas. The pink board behind them proclaims 'SEDUCTIVE, SENSUOUS, SEXY FLANNEL'. The contrast with all the small silky and lacy things surrounding it renders this scene all the more surreal.

In other words, if I get into bed toasty warm because I'm wearing warm pj's, I'm much more likely to strip them off.

On the other hand, if I am shivering in some strappy little number, I am mummifying myself in quilts and don't want to be touched at all.

So there ya go. Flannel pj's lead to more getting laid. It's scientifically proven.
