Have you seen Coupling?
It's way funnier than Friends and more insightful and less fluffy. I'm so addicted I've seen season 1 2 and 3 already but am waiting for 4 on dvd. Jeff Murdochh, the social fumbler, is soo hilarious mostly cuz he reminds me of myself! Jane and Steve are irritating as hell but beyond that, it's a perfect show!

What's your verdict?

3. That show is fabulous
we watch it regularly. Hilarious and 100% better than Friends.

The US made a knock-off that was cancelled right away and was . . . well horrible.

4. If you haven't seen season 4, let me inform you it's not the same
without Jeff. Still has its funny moments but I missed Jeff. As you can tell I love this show.

9. Yeah. The actor who played Jeff left to star in another show
of which I don't the name.

10. Ahh the question would be which one of the fine ladies is your favorite ?
Me, I'm fond of Sally. I started out with Sally when I first saw the show and then migrated to Jane and now I'm back to Sally. Susan's also nice.

6. They ran a number of episodes of "Coupling" on local PBS station
Edited on Mon Sep-27-04 05:20 PM by CBHagman
I think they chickened out after a while, given that the show is fairly racy for U.S. TV. (Then again, PBS has shown pretty much everything over the years. Shh! Don't tell Family Research Council.)

Anyway, Jeff is my favorite character, too -- so utterly hapless, so utterly loveable. The show is like "Seinfeld" or "Friends" in that everyone has their neuroses and character flaws paraded before the world every episode.

There's even a poltical component, in that Sally, contemplating launching a relationship with Patrick, finds that her biggest objection to him is that he's a Tory. :-)

11. Yeah. but I would that in most cases that they are not as extreme
as ours but then I'm not an expert concerning British politics you'll have to ask someone who knows more on the subject.

But to answer your question as best as I can, yes they are.
