6. I'm guessing the worry is that the "who's hot" type of thread could

potentially skew the board towards "soft porn" type of material through posting of pics. But if they're going to take this stand, they should be consistent by shutting down EVERY "who's hot" or "this person is hot" type of thread.

I don't think the sort of problem envisioned is likely to cause a problem on DU because of the reason that most people come to join this board in the first place. But that's just me... I have no experience running a board.
