Poll question: What's worse-the Bush Administration ot its freeper supporters?
Edited on Sun Oct-10-04 02:11 PM by EstimatedProphet
I'm watching Farenheit 9/11 again, and getting infuriated. But the thing is, Bush would never have gotten away with all the things he did if he didn't have slavering lackeys supporting his every move.
So, who's worst?

2. Tough call
But I'm going to have to go to the source and say Bush (or whoever pulls his strings). The CPU controls the computer, and Bush is the CPU, granted he's an extremely defective one. But hey, computers can only count to one, right? Sounds like he's a CPU to me.

3. The worst is the media, These folks are supposed to know better,
but have sold their souls to the right wing extremists.

4. If the press whores did their job the real motives of the Fascist thugs
would be the debate. Why are we talking about the justification for the fiasco in Iraq and not mentioning the PERMANENT BASES being built? Bu$hCO intends to stay in Iraq for ever. How John said he has no such plans. SAY IT AGAIN JOHN.

I was about to start it myself. I would say it is the unquestioning, too-lazy-to-do-a-little-research base (fundies, many of which are freepers). They prefer to hide in their little suburbs and countrysides and ignore problems. Whenever you present them with alternative/differing views and fact, the first reaction out of them is to label you. They cannot seem to debate without casting the opponent(s) as lesser than they are. (In fact, the uneducated ones will call you schoolyard names right off the bat!) Our current domestic problems is a good example of how the GOP base has the ostrich head-in-the-sand syndrome. They want you to have it too! If you so much as express a concern about outsourcing, unemployment, etc., if you do not see the rosey pictures that Bush & Co. paints you must be some kind of a socialist who wants government intervention! It is very frustrating if not impossible to have any kind of a meaningful discussion with people whose first instinct is to pigeonhole. "Who the hell are you to tell me what to do with my bidness?" is a typical knee-jerk, angry response from them. Here is where their SELECTIVITY rears its ugly head, unintended by the screamers of the above canned line. They never ever apply this "government hands-off" view when women's bodies or people's sexual orientations are concerned. In other words, the social arena. To these cherry pickers, the gov't should not even make so much as a comment on the business front, but should have every right to peek into your bedrooms, and even kitchens! (For any of you creepy Constimatushin Party types lurking, you KNOW what I'm talking about :) ) And the Pregnancy Police should be everywhere to ensure that women don't step into shoes and out of the kitchen onto the arenas of men (such as having careers)!

If any of you can recall more hypocrisies and double-standards from the rightwing, feel free to share. I'd love to hear them.
